House League Referees

Referee Program

Our House League soccer program is a great opportunity for our kids (12 years and older) to learn how to become soccer referees and make some money while doing so.  We offer our own in-house House League Referee Training class to get them certified as a CSC House League Referee.

2019 Season

We are now accepting new applicants to become House League Referees based on the following criteria:

  • Applicant must submit an application online prior to class using the following Application Link
  • Applicants must attend our House League Referee Training and pass the qualification test to certify as a CSC House League Referee. Please bring a pen/pencil to class, as well as a completed W4 form.
  • Potential referees must be at least 12-years-old (as of 7/1/2019) and must be experienced soccer players (house and/or travel) with a strong knowledge of the game.

Please read the Referee Procedures document attached below for detailed instructions.

Returning House League Referees need to follow as the same procedures as new applicants.

We will have 2 available certification classes.

Saturday July 13th, 2019 from 9:00am-11:00am and Wednesday July 17th, 2019 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm in the CSC Clubhouse.

This course is mandatory for all new and returning House League Referees.

All Dates are tentative and candidates will be advise via email of any scheduling changes.

REFEREES ARE REQUIRED TO ONLY ATTEND ONE SESSION

If you are a WNYSRA certified referee, you are not required to attend this course.  We just need your application and W-4, along with a copy of your certification.

For those House League Referees who fulfill a whole season refereeing for us, we will try to provide an opportunity next year for them to go on and receive WNYSRA refereeing certification.
